This fascinating museum offers a wide selection of findings from the Ephesus archaeological site, the basilica of St John and the Temple of Artemis. In one of their sections visitors can find a stunning collection of coins dating back to the times when money was first used in history.

During the time of the War of Independence this building originally served as the headquarters of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, so the building itself has historical importance.
After the renovation of the building, it has opened its doors to the public as the Independence War Museum. Currently, they have rooms offering all kinds of historical treasures from the time of the Turkish War of Independence such as fascinating photographs, documents and authentic furniture.
