Educational development at ELTE

Archiving, searching and reusing the large number of digital learning materials and learning components (shareable units known as Shareable Content Objects, or SCOs) produced at universities is becoming an increasing challenge. On 3 March 2025, the ELTE digital learning materials repository project was launched, in which we are participating as a subcontractor, drawing on our experience in the field of repositories.

The aim of the project is to create a digital learning materials repository that, as part of the institution’s data assets, ensures the availability of digital teaching materials in a structured, searchable and legally compliant way, and allows them to be reused in the long term.
