What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device. Other data stored in your browser (for example local storage) serves a similar purpose. In this policy, "cookie" means both.

Which cookies do we use?

The site groups cookies into three categories. The exact list — name, provider, duration and purpose — is in the "Cookies and similar technologies used on this site" section below.

• Necessary cookies. They are essential for the site to work: they remember your chosen language, your accessibility settings and your cookie choice, and keep content editors signed in and remember their editing interface settings. We place them without consent, because the site would not work without them, or we could not carry out your explicit requests.
• External media. Playback of embedded YouTube videos. A video loads only when you click it, and when it plays YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) may place cookies on your device and collect data. We use them only with your consent.
• Statistics. With Google Analytics 4 we measure how many people visit the site and which pages they view. Advertising data collection and Google signals are switched off, and the measurement cookies last 1 year. We use them only with your consent.

Legal basis

The legal basis for necessary cookies is our legitimate interest in operating the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and providing the service you requested. The legal basis for external media and statistics cookies is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR; Section 155(4) of Hungarian Act C of 2003 on electronic communications).

Giving, changing and withdrawing consent

On your first visit, the banner lets you accept or reject all non-necessary cookies, or set them by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Until you decide, no non-necessary cookies are placed.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of the page, or the button on this page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. When you withdraw, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your device.

We keep your choice for one year. If we introduce a new cookie category or external service, we ask you again.

Browser settings

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; see your browser's help for how. If you block necessary cookies, some features of the site (for example remembering the language) will not work properly.

Transfers to third countries

YouTube and Google Analytics are provided by Google Ireland Ltd., which may transfer data to its parent company, Google LLC (United States). The transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses. For details, see Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about your data, to have it rectified or erased, to object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Falk Miksa utca 9-11., 1055 Budapest, ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu). Changes to this policy

We amend this policy whenever the site uses a new cookie or external service. The current version is always available on this page.
