Software support for geophysical measurements
Research of archaeological sites
Although we are at home in the cultural heritage field, our current project is something special. We responded to the request of Salisbury Ltd., a renowned company in the field of archaeology and heritage protection in Hungary, when, after a 3-week preliminary design phase, we started developing the GeoTrans software in February 2024.
The Client – specialised in archaeological and conservation works – by applying state of the art technologies, provides services for all phases of archaeological and conservation works. In line with this, our custom development was designed to operate with geophysical survey data in several ways – processing, visualising, run filtering and placing data on a physical map prior to construction works. The results obtained can then be presented to Salisbury Ltd’s clients in the form of an impact study, enabling them to calculate the cost and time implications of any archaeological excavation required before groundworks begin.
